Sorry it's been so long since we've updated. Our lives have been pretty boring lately which is fine with me! =) Last week I was sent to a conference in Newport News Virginia. It was a training class for educators and I even got to present! I felt really honored that they asked me to present so I was slightly stressed right before the event writing and rewriting my presentation. Normally I don't get nervous when I present here at work, probably because I can do these presentations in my sleep. But this time I was presenting to colleagues from all over the U.S. and I was doing a presentation specifically for this conference. I had a great time, and I guess I must have done well since everyone had really nice things to say after I was done! Here are some pictures that someone at the conference took and sent to me. They aren't the best but at least it gives you all an idea of what I do everyday.......which is stand up in front of a lot of people and make them listen to me! hahahahaha
I'm sure we'll be posting more this weekend since it's going to be jam packed with fun activities. I hope you all enjoy your long Memorial Day weekend! And for those who are retired (and you know who you are!) no need to rub in the fact every weekend is a long weekend for you! =P
