Happy Belated Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day (belated) to our super cool dads! Sorry we missed this special day with the both of you....it was Ryan and Emma's fault! hahaha Just kidding!

To our dads: thanks for being the dad who let go of the bike even when the water works started and screams of "don't let go daddy" were being screamed in the parking lot. Thanks for being the dad who after a skinned up bloody knee picked us up, brushed us off and said "get back out there". Thanks for being the dad who during volleyball games yelled the loudest "move your feet!!!" and the dad who coached soccer games and taught us how to play softball.

Thanks for being the dad who is going to walk me down the isle and give me away to my future husband.

Thanks for being the dad who helped raise (along with Sherry of course!) an awesome man that I want to spend the rest of my life with.

Back in Action!

Alright so after many attempts and many hours of scanning for viruses, our room mate Jesse has fixed our computer! I think he tried about 5 different programs to try and kill it. There was one stubborn little virus that would not go away and kept reviving itself somehow but it finally was wiped out! I don't understand what the point of a virus is. Oh well just make sure you have your automatic updates and security features up to date! We do now!
We will be visiting Ryan and Emma this weekend in Portland and we are so excited! We have not seen their new house and we cant wait to see the newly remodeled kitchen. Emma has accepted our request for her to do our wedding cake so we will probably do some cake tasting and testing while we are there. That should be fun!!

Computer Problems

Well, we have been under construction the last couple of days because our computer has a virus. People who create these things to infect other peoples computers suck! Lance got up the other day and turned on the computer and got the big red WARNING sign. Which is, as we all know, something you don't want to see on your computer.

Here are a few answers to the questions that have been asked over and over.
1. Where you guys backed up?...........um, nope.
2. Was your anti virus program up-to-date?............um, nope.
3. Ouch!..............um, yeah, we know!

There are two positives here. The first being that the hard drive is not that old, so it didn't really have that much on it. We have Microsoft Office on a disc so we can just reinstall those programs. The second positive is that we live with a computer expert. Jesse has been working many hours detecting and getting rid of those ugly viruses. Lance and I are very appreciative of all the hard work he's put in. He told us the other day he charges $100 an hour.......hope he was kidding! =) Our computer crashing motivated Jesse to go into his room and make sure his computer was backed up and all the virus protection was update-to-date! That made me think we should probably do a PSA!

Well, here it is, our very first public service announcement. Now, go to your computer, hug it, tell it how wonderful it is and then, back it up! Then make sure your virus protection software is all up-to-date and is actually scanning for viruses. Maybe you don't want to hug it or maybe you don't even think computers are that wonderful, but I know that no one wants to lose all of their information stored on the hard drive!.......this message has been approved by Suzanne and Lance
