Last night I needed to go pick up my allergy medication from the Kaiser down the street, so what better way to reduce your carbon footprint than to ride your bike?!?!?! And that's exactly what we did! I had this idea while I was at work, so I called Lance and asked him to get our bikes ready to go and hopefully find our helmets! We hadn't been bike riding in a long time and what better night to do it than last night! It was 70 degrees last night with a high of 88! IN JANUARY! Oh, how I love California! Sorry to all of you in colder climates!! =)
I got home from work, Lance made me dinner (he's the best!) and we headed off on our bike ride. We were jamming along when we got to an intersection where we had to stop and wait for our turn to go. As we were waiting this guy walks over to us and he totally smells of alcohol. He was pretty young too, I would say in his mid-twenties. He comes over and he says, I have an iPod for sale. I look at him and say, um, ok. Then he's like, this isn't just any iPod, it's Scarlett Johansson's iPod. At this point I just start to laugh. Then he starts going into this whole spiel about how he is selling it for a great price. Well of course, I have to ask him what this great price is. Then he tells us he will sell it to us for $200,000! I almost fell off my bike. $200,000 for an iPod, from a celebrity are you kidding me. And he's trying to sell it in the middle of Santa Ana for that price. Ya, good luck! Lance and I just laughed and luckily our light turned green and we could continue on our journey.
So, I'm putting it out there, if any of you want a $200,000 Scarlett Johansson iPod, please let me know! hahahaha Maybe I can go find the guy for you! hahahaha
Love,
Suzanne
